「真の権威」
「イエス答へて言ひたまふ『我も一言なんぢらに問はん、もし夫を告げなば、我もまた何の權威をもて此等のことを爲すかを告げん』」 マタイ21:24 大正文語訳聖書
「イエスはお答えになった。「では、わたしも一つ尋ねる。それに答えるなら、わたしも、何の権威でこのようなことをするのか、あなたたちに言おう」 新共同訳聖書
「なんの権威によって宮を浄め、病を癒し、神の教えを語るのか？」と問う祭司長、民の長老たちに、イエスも問いを投げられる。
イエスは祭司長、律法学者、長老等に向きなおられて、「何の權威をもて此等のことを爲すか」と、逆に彼らに問いを発せられる。
権威を問う者は権威を問われる。
権威を問うことが間違いなのではない。偽りの権威に座り込み、真の権威を疑うことが問題なのである。
すべての権威は神によってたてられている。人は何人といえども、神からの権威を私してはならない。
「人は皆、上に立つ権威に従うべきです。神に由来しない権威はなく、今ある権威はすべて神によって立てられたものだからです」 ロマ13:1 新共同訳聖書
「真の権威」とは御子イエス・キリストにある権威である。
「天にあるものも地にあるものも、見えるものも見えないものも、王座も主権も、支配も権威も、万物は御子において造られたからです。つまり、万物は御子によって、御子のために造られました」 コロサイ1:16 新共同訳聖書
「あなたがたは、キリストにおいて満たされているのです。キリストはすべての支配や権威の頭です」 コロサイ2:10 新共同訳聖書
