「十一人の弟子」
イエスの十二弟子はイスカリオテのユダが欠けて十一人になった。イエスの弟子はイスラエルの十二部族からきており、十二人でなければならなかった。一人が失われることによって全体の意味がなくなってしまう。
神の国に、失ってもよい魂は一人としてない。

弟子たちは婦人たちから伝えられたイエスの言葉に従って、ガリラヤに行き、指示された「山」に登った。
復活の主に会うためには、指示された場所にむかい、「疑いの山」を登らなければならない。

エルサレムの住民がイエスの遺体を墓から盗んだという話にもちきりになる間、イスカリオテのユダを覗く十一人の弟子たちはエルサレムからガリラヤに行き、あらかじめイエスが指示されていた山に登った。この山がガリラヤのどの山であったかは定かではない。かつて、主イエスが弟子たちに「しかしわたしは、よみがえってから、あなたがたより先に、ガリラヤへ行きます」（マタイ26:32 口語訳聖書）と告げられた山であった。どの山で出会うかが問題ではなく、イエスが待っておられる山に行くことが重要であった。
エルサレム中が主の復活を否定する偽のうわさにもちきりになっている最中にも、弟子たちは直ちにイエスの復活について語ることは戒められ、ます、弟子たちが復活の主にお会いし、遣わされる時を待つことが求められた。
「イエスの指示されたガリラヤの山」に登る者は幸いである。
