「吉報と凶報」
イエスの復活の出来事を知らせるために、婦人たちは弟子たちのところに、ローマ兵は祭司長のところに走った。
一方に吉報であることは他方には凶報である。吉報を受ける者は、それがある者には凶報であることを忘れるべきではない。

婦人たちが復活されたイエスに出会い、その言葉を弟子たちに知らせるために立ち去る間に、墓の番をしていたローマ兵たちのある者たちは祭司長達に報告に走った。この者たちにとっても主イエスの復活は驚くべき出来事であった。ローマ兵はイエスの十字架の主導者である祭司長、律法学者、サンヘドリンの議員、パリサイ人に知らせなければと思ったのである。
この人たちにも、主イエスの復活は逐一知らせられた。しかし、主の御使いから主イエスの復活を告げられた婦人たちや弟子たちに対して、彼らはローマ兵から復活の知らせを受けたのである。
イエスの復活の知らせをどこから告げられるかは重要なことである。人からではなく、神からでなければ、福音とはならない。
