「神の契約」
アブラハムは雌やぎと雄羊を真っ二つに切り裂き、その半分を向かい合わせにした。煙の立つかまどと燃えるたいまつが切り裂かれたものの間を通過して、神はアブラハムと契約を結ばれた。（創世記15:9~21）今、イエスの切り裂かれた御体と流された御血の間を神は通過され、私との間に新しい契約を結ばれるのである。
