「もう一タラント」
神の御手に「もう一タラント」がある。それを与えられた人は、それがかつてある者に属したものであることを忘れてはいけない。

主人は「悪しき怠け者」の僕に託した1タラントを取り上げて、10タラントをもつ僕に与えるように命じた。
地に深く埋めて活用されなかった神の「タラント」は、そのまま神に返されることはない。それらは「忠実な僕」に改めて託されるのである。世に与えられた「神のタラント」はタラント自身の働きをせずにはおかない。
活用されなかったタラントが「忠実な僕」に与えられるからといって、人はタラントの増額など思うべきではない。それは神御自身がお決めになることで、人はだれも「与えられたタラント」にひたすらに忠実であればよい。
