カナンの女は「然り、主よ ναί, κύριε」と応える。

子犬も「自分たちの＜幼い＞ご主人たち」（詳訳聖書）の「食卓からこぼれるパンくずはいただけます」というのがカナンの女の信仰だった。

我々は「されど、主よ」ということはあっても、「然り、主よ ναί, κύριε」ということは少ない。
「事実」は都合のよい解釈によって好みの色に塗り分けられる。しかし、「事実」のもつ色合いをそのままに受け入れることから本当の風景が見えてくる。まず「然り、主よ」と言う。そこから「事実」の力が働き始める。
「然り、主よ ναί, κύριε」、短く力強い言葉である。

子犬も「自分たちの＜幼い＞ご主人たち」（詳訳聖書）の「食卓からこぼれるパンくずはいただけます」というのがカナンの女のイエスへの信仰の応答だった。
信仰は魂の美しい言葉を生み出す。
イエスに、「然り、主よ ναί, κύριε」と応えよ。希望に満ちた「然り」がいのちに光を与える。
すべてのことが「然り」なのではない。主がおられて、「然り」は「然り」となる。
