五千人もの群衆の夕食をどのように用意できるだろうか？
ピリポは冷静に男だけで五千人分のパンを購う金額を示して、「それは不可能です」と告げている。
不可能と思われることを始めるのも信仰である。しかし、つねに不可能を求めるのが信仰でもない。冷静に現実
を計算するピリポもまた信仰による。それが神の御旨であれば、常識にも非常識にも従うのが信仰である。
