「立ち去る」は「μεταίρω メタイロー」で「居場所を変える」こと。或ることが終えたら居場所を変えるために、足を持ち上げる。イエスはそうしながら宣教の歩みを止められることはなかった。

自分の「居場所」を変える時がある。人はいつまでもその「場所」にとどまれるのではない。いつでもその「時」がきたら「居場所を変える」ことができるように留まるべきである。

イエスはこれらの譬えを語り終えられるとそこを立ち去られた。
「立ち去る」は「μεταίρω メタイロー」で「居場所を変える」こと。或ることが終えたら居場所を変えるために、足を持ち上げる。イエスはそうしながら宣教の歩みを止められることはなかった。
イエスは一つ所に留まることなく、町から町に神のことばを伝えて歩かれた。人々が来るのを待つのではなく、待つ人々のところを訪れてゆかれたのである。
人はみな、イエスを求めて出会ったのではなく、イエスが自分の所に来られたことによって神に導かれたのである。
イエスの弟子はみなイエスと同じように生きる。待つのではなく、待つ人のところに至るのである。
