「種まきの譬え」を語り終えると、イエスはすぐに「毒麦の譬え」を語り始められた。
＜天國は良き種を畑にまく人のごとし＞
漢訳聖書には「良き種」は「美種」であり、それを受けて明治元約聖書は「美種(よきたね)」とした。
中国語で「美 mei」は「美しい、麗しい」から「満足のゆく、申し分のない、恵まれた、すばらしい」をあらわす。（現代中国語で「美人」は「アメリカ人」の意味である。「美しい人」は「美眉」或いは「漂亮美眉」という。）

「良き種」は漢訳聖書では「美種」で、多くの実りをもたらすものは美しい。
「良き種 καλός カろス」 は「健全な、価値ある種」を意味する。「良い καλός カろス」は「目的に叶うこと」である。

「種まきの譬え」を語り終えると、イエスはすぐに「毒麦の譬え」を語り始められた。
「天国の譬え」は一つではなく、泉の水のように湧き出て、地を潤す。
「主ご自身が、知恵を造られ、これを見、これを計り、これを、そのすべての業の上に注がれた。」

すべての「神の国の譬え」を学ぶべきである。
神は造られた知恵の言葉を「これを見、これを割り当て、そのすべてのみ業の上にこれを注ぎ」給うからである。
「一つの譬え」は他の譬えと繋がり、それはまたすべての御言葉と繋がって全体をつくる。
人は「一つの譬え」から御言葉の全体に導かれ、「一つの譬え」を欠くことは御言葉の全体を見失うのである。
