人は父母、兄弟姉妹を選ぶことはできない。神の創造によって与えられる。信仰はそれを確認し、成し遂げる。
そして、何をもって「父である」「母である」「子である」かは、「神の御心を行なう」ことの内にある。

「人類みな兄弟」
「人類みな兄弟」というスローガンは、誰一人「兄弟」とは認めていないという点で、キリスト者の「兄弟姉妹」はそれ以外を排除するという点で、共にある種の過ちに人を導く。自と他を分離するのではなく、「私」のうちに同時に内包することによって分離し、和解するしかない。
