「人々の苦悩は深まり、いのちの危機が迫っている。だから、その場に働き人を遣わしてくれるように祈りなさい」とイエスは言われる。それは「私がここにいます。私を苦悩の場に働き人としてお遣わしください」との祈りに他ならない。

「刈り入れ」
神は「収穫の主」である。「病と貧困の苦悩」の「刈り入れ」をなさる。刈り取られた「病と貧困の苦悩」は神の倉に収められる。

「人々の苦悩は深まり、いのちの危機が迫っている。だから、収穫の主に働き人を遣わしてくれるように祈りなさい」とイエスは言われる。
今や人々の苦悩は煮詰まり、成熟し、結実した。
人間はこれを刈り取ることはできない。それをなされるはの神御自身である。
人間の病と貧困の苦悩が結ぶ実を納めることができるのは天の神の倉しかない。
神は「収穫の主」である。
イエスは弟子たちに、「収穫の主に働き人を遣わしてくれるように祈りなさい」と言われる。
この祈りをする者は、「誰か私以外の人をお遣わし下さい」と祈ってはならない。
この祈りは、「私がここにいます。私を苦悩の場に働き人としてお遣わしください」との祈りに他ならないからである。
人間の存在の苦悩に、何ができるだろうかと思ってはいけない。
「働き人」を派遣するのは「収穫の主」だからである。
人には、どこかに、遣わされる地がある。
